How Did Women's Roles Change During WWII?

Women have not always had the freedom to work like they do today. In the past women always worked in the home and took care of the children, while the man worked and earned the money for the household. There was a big push for women to begin working during World War II while all of the men were at war. Women workers during this time were faced with much resistance. There were many things that these women had to overcome in the workplace, and because of them women are more accepted in the workplace today.
